Subtitling, dubbing and access services provider BTI Studios has appointed Mazin Al-Jumaili as managing director of its west London-based UK hub.

Al-Jumaili has some 20 years of post-production experience and has spent the last ten years managing international localisation, digital and DVD operations. He joins BTI from his role as vice president of localisation at Deluxe Entertainment Services Group.

BTI Studios chief executive Björn Lifvergren said: “After a thorough selection process Mazin proved the best choice as managing director for our international hub in London.

“He brings a great depth of knowledge and experience in international localisation and operations and I am delighted he will be heading up our UK office.”
