Broadcast Video Expo (BVE) is introducing a sister event for its main show next year that is specifically aimed at creative, logistics and craft people.

‘The Production Show’ will stand alongside the main exhibition offering 1500 sqm of floor space, 60 exhibitors and 70 seminars.

The content of the event will be appropriate for a range of roles and disciplines including directors, producers, location managers and make-up artists.

“With over 3000 film, TV and facilities companies in the UK employing over 70,000 people, production is still big business,” said BVE event director Charlotte Bowskill.

“Show research over the last two years has highlighted the need to service those working within the planning and creating process with a UK exhibition. By being in the same hall as BVE it gives the UK a full perspective of products and services available to the industry from production to delivery.

Entry to the event will be free.

The Production Show takes place during BVE from 16 to 18 February 2010 at Earl’s Court 2 in London.
