NAB 2013: Cinedeck’s RX3G and MX devices will support the capture and playback of ARRIRAW.

Forthcoming upgrades will also support JPEG 2000, CinemaDNG, Canon RAW and OpenEXR, the high dynamic-range (HDR) image file format developed originally by Industrial Light & Magic.

At NAB, Cinedeck will show the import and application of non-destructive, viewing LUTs to recorded content, via the on-board displays on the RX3G and MX, as well as to output monitors.

Cinedeck also announced that it will also support the IIF/ACES workflow, developed by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Science and Technology Council to establish a standard format to maintain color accuracy for digital production and post.
