Cinewessex has added new Avid Nitris DX suites to its Winchester facility in order to meet an increasing demand for HD post-production services.

Two permanent and one dry-hired Media Composer Nitris DX suites have been installed that will work alongside an existing Avid DS Nitris.

The investment brings the total number of suites at Cinewessex to five.

Cinewessex head editor Paddy Bowerman said: “I’m thrilled that we can now offer offline and online high definition facilities of this calibre here at Cinewessex – my role is all about providing the best possible service for our clients and this new set up really is the business.”

As well as providing post services, Cinewessex supplies HD / HDCam and Digibeta camera crews, 2D and 3D graphics, video encoding, DVD authoring, and CD and DVD replication and duplication.
