Clear has completed post work on its second drama for ITV. Gifted was made by Rollem Productions and written by the indie's boss, Kay Mellor. The two-hour drama is particularly topical as it features a rape scandal involving a footballer. Directed by Douglas Mackinnon, the VFX supervisor was Peter Bach, who was also supervisor on 28 Days Later. Mackinnon wanted an authentic feel and used the same angles and lenses as TV match coverage. Bach shot multiple plates which were used to make 30 people appear to be thousands of fans filling a stadium. Post-produced by Steve Garrad, the plates were composited in Inferno and Flame by Simon Huhtala, Jonny Hicks, Tom Harding and Adam Gascoyne.
