Component Graphics has completed design on a 60-minute one-off special, Battle of the Boy Bands , created and produced by Shine Entertainment for Channel 4. CG elements were composited with footage and key words to create posters, billboards and newspaper headlines, which chart the ups and downs of famous boy bands such as the Monkees, the Bay City Rollers, Boyzone and Westlife. Component designers Steve Wilkes and Simon Pyke created the logo identity and title sequence. The show's producer/director was Anna Gien. Battle of the Boy Bands will air on 12 April at 22.00 on C4.
