The Facility will add a second Pro Tools audio suite to its Dean Street-based post house later this month.

The new sound mixing and editing capabilities will be installed on the third floor of the company's Soho building and will help deal with the long-form broadcast workload from its main audio suite.

“The Facility has managed to sign a number of longer term deals in the last few months to insure a level of stability, enabling us to plan for the future and not just worry about tomorrow,” said joint managing director Jason Kosbab.

“The new audio suite will give us the ability to work during the day rather than pushing our mixers through the night.”

The new suite is just one part of a general refurbishment of the company's Soho building. A Film Master grading suite was installed last month while an Avid DS Nitris finishing suite, a Quality Control area and extra duplication machines will be added shortly.

Alex Goodes, The Facility's other joint managing director, said: “Being the size we are but offering all [these] facilities, we can offer clients the full post production process but with a one to one service level, we offer a real alternative to the faceless ‘super market' facilities”

AKA Design provided custom built consoles and furniture for the grading suite.

Finance for the re-fit was handled by Paul Robson at Medialease.

Recent work complete at The Facility includes the second series of Cash In The Attic (pictured) for Leopard Films and Eating in The Sun for Dog House Media.
