How to look good naked

Client: Maverick TV
Post house: 422 Manchester
Brief: To produce titles incorporating naked women - without using real women.
How it was done: 422 created silhouettes of normal-shaped women in a variety of situations using After Effects. The women were pictured in their underwear, applying eye make up or having their photo taken. Their underwear was subsequently removed, leaving them naked. The design and direction was completed by Ian Bate.
Watch it: Wednesday 7 November at 8pm on Channel 4.

Nothing but the Truth

Client: Ruggie Media
Post house: The Farm Group
Brief: To post-produce Jerry Springer’s new gameshow for Sky One.
How it was done: The Farm Group posted this high definition gameshow, which was recorded in a 5.1 and stereo mix unlike other shows in the genre. The sound was created by Dave McGrath. The aim was to give viewers the feeling that they are in the audience. The multi-camera studio shoot was onlined by Steve Dix.

The Beckoning Silence

Post house: Blue
Client: Darlow Smithson
Brief: To give a dramatic grade and finish to this follow up to Touching the Void.
How it was done: Blue Da Vinci 2K colourist George K graded this drama documentary while Clive Mattock onlined in DS Nitris. The production team combined DVC PRO-HD, HDV and CG elements to achieve a polished and filmic result and the show was posted to blend each of these constituent parts.
