Dean St Studios is making a push for more broadcast audio post work.
The recording studio, which has hosted the likes of David Bowie, T-Rex and U2, is developing its audio post-production arm, with one of its five studios now dedicated to audio post work.
The refurbished studio now has a dedicated voiceover booth, client area and Pro Tools 10 software.
Former Music Industry Consortium employee Nic Cosenza has joined the Soho facility in a newly created business development and digital marketing role.
He has been tasked with securing more broadcast work. “One of our USPs is the equipment we have,” said Cosenza.
“Instead of using plug-ins, we have the originals, such as vintage amps, compressors, EQs and instruments.”
Dean St has completed the sound design for Horrid Henry for CiTV. It is also working on a BBC documentary for TX in October.
