Avid Technology's audio division DigiDesign has launched a new service called DigiDelivery that allows users to send any type of file, including Pro Tools sessions, video and text, to an email address.

The files, which are delivered over Rocket Net-work's secure private network, are opened with DigiStudio Control software, which can be downloaded free from the internet. Although senders need a DigiStudio account to use the service, deliveries are free.
