The Media Composer systems include Boris effects and are integrated into the facility’s existing Avid Isis, Interplay and MediaCentral infrastructure. The investment is part of an ongoing expansion programme, which includes the purchase of a further 128TB of Isis storage, Glookast’s systems for automated ingest and back-up, another 264TB of Object Matrix nearline storage and a XenData LTO6 tape library. Directors Cut’s DPP AS-11 deliverables are handled by Root6’s Content Agent, Vidcheck’s VidChecker and Signiant’s file-transfer software. The suites will be used for the first time next week for Spun Gold’s Country Life for BBC2.
