Director's Cut, the facilities arm of arts producer Third Eye, has doubled its editing facilities with a second Symphony and four further offline suites. Managing director Peter West hopes that Roly Keating's appointment as controller of BBC2 will increase the BBC's arts output. Editor Ann Dummett has been added to its roster. Meanwhile, the company has come to a working agreement with post house Clear Cut Pictures. The move will give the west London-based facility a Soho presence by championing Director's Cut as offline editors. In return, Director's Cut will push Clear Cut's dubbing facilities. Clear Cut is currently being made HD capable.
