The Digital Interactive Television Group (DITG) has announced it has snapped up Gointeractive, the iTV technology and services company, making the merged companies the largest independent company in the UK's iTV industry. Gointeractive was jointly owned by Sony Pictures, Sony Venture Capital and Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures. The company specialises in return path technology and iTV services. Customers include the BBC, C4 and Sony's games service GoPlayTV. No financial details were disclosed.
