DreamWorks Animation’s stereoscopic supervisor Phil McNally will make the keynote address at Principal Large Format’s 3D training course later this month.

McNally, whose credits include Megamind and How to Train Your Dragon, will be joined at the event by 3ality Digital stereographer Nick Brown and freelance stereographer Adam Sculthorp.

Principal Large Format CEO Phil Streather said: “This event is about the very essence of 3D film making. Excellent equipment, big cinema screens, plenty of content and the world’s best 3D talent and teachers all coming together in the UK to deliver a premium 3D training experience.” 

The course takes place 25-27 January at BAFTA in central London and at Twickenham Studios.
