Neither company would say how much the contract is worth, but revealed that it will run for a year before an initial review.

Under the deal, Dubbs' VTR division will provide services including video dubbing, transfers and transmission masters for all Flextech's channels, which include Living TV and Bravo.

Dubbs' digital media division Eyeframe will handle DVD authoring and file creation. The graphics team will create channel idents, and is also in talks to produce title sequences for some Flextech programming.

Dubbs' head of sales and marketing, James Greenwall, said that the contract was a welcome addition to a roster including the BBC, Sky, C4, Five and Freeview. The company's recent post-production credits include C4's The River Cottage Treatmentand Talkback Thames' Take That: for the Recordfor ITV1.

Dubbs recently installed Sony's HDCam high-definition format, allowing it to ingest HD material directly into a new Sony XPRI edit system and output onto HDCam master tape.
