Digital Vision has more than halved the price of its restoration technology Phoenix and its DVO software toolset.

The move has been made, amongst other things, to provide current Nucoda owners with a cheaper way of introducing more grading and restoration services.

Phoenix includes DVO Restore, DVO Enhance and DVO Convert.

Torbjörn Dyrvold, Digital Vision restoration product manager said: “Aside from these new price changes, which allow more customers to take advantage of our premium restoration and re-mastering tools, we will also be addressing specific market requests with new products and price points that will see Digital Vision continue to lead the market.”

Meanwhile, the company has announced that it will be releasing DVO Clarity in June.

The de-noiser and film grain management software will be included in the current DVO Enhance software package for free.
