Video processing solutions firm Elemental Technologies has opened its first office in the UK.

The international expansion of US-based Elemental follows deals with WRN Broadcast together with other clients in Europe such as TF1 Group in France and QVC in Italy.

Elemental’s UK office, which is located in Reading, is headed by John Nemeth, director, EMEA.

WRN Broadcast deployed Elemental Live to create ten simultaneous streaming outputs from a live HD-SDI playout source.

“We need video processing solutions that deliver the quality and ubiquity that our customers have come to expect,” said WRN Broadcast head of engineering and technology David Travis.

“As our customers’ expectations continue to increase, we need video platforms like Elemental that can economically scale from the complex needs of today to the even more robust requirements sure to come in the future.”
