Eleven Sports has acquired live rights to Cage Warriors fights in Belgium, Luxembourg and Italy in 2020 and 2021.

The deal marks the extension of an existing partnership between Eleven and promotion outfit MMA. Over the past three years Eleven has broadcast every Cage Warriors fight night as well as co-delivering a series of live events in Belgium.

Eleven will go on to show all Cage Warriors’ Live events in 2020 and 2021. Coverage starts with the championship’s first visit to the BEC Arena in Manchester on March 7th, 2020. Cage Warriors will then deliver the first half of an MMA weekend at the O2 in London – with a Cage Warriors show on March 20th followed by UFC London on 21st March.

The Cage Warriors deal is the latest in a series of Eleven fight acquisitions. Eleven recently broadcast Anthony Joshua’s Clash on the Dunes victory over Andy Ruiz in Belgium, Portugal and Taiwan and has been home to the UFC in both Belgium and Luxembourg since 2017.

Danny Menken, group managing director of Eleven Sports, said: “Cage Warriors are Europe’s leading mixed martial arts promotion. They’ve been a fantastic partner to Eleven over the past three years, delivering electric entertainment to our fans. We’re delighted to be continuing our relationship with them.”

Casimir Knight, CEO of Cage Warriors, added: “It’s always an honour and a privilege to work with Eleven – their creative and entrepreneurial approach fits well with our commitment to grow European MMA”.
