UK reseller Pixelution is distributing FaceStation, the facial-motion-capture plug-in for 3ds Max and Maya, which is available again. The software has been off the market since its developer, Eyematic, folded last year and the move follows the acquisition of FaceStation by US company Vidiator Technology. With this acquisition, an updated version porting to the latest versions of Maya and 3ds Max will now be available. 'It is a very unique product and since its comeback we've seen quite a lot of interest in it,' Pixelution managing director Giles Parker said.
