The Worcestershire-based company will set up a Soho demo office this month to help sell the Australian manufacturer's kit and has already put in place a dedicated business and support team.
The entire Fairlight production and post-production range - including the Xynergi, Constellation, Pyxis and Anthem technologies - will be made available.
Fairlight sales and marketing director Stuart DeMarais said: “Joining forces with Total Audio Solutions will enable us to introduce the Fairlight platform to a much wider audience and allow us to engage a larger customer base.”
Fairlight kit was previously available through Tekcare.
Commenting on the end of the Tekcare agreement DeMarais said: "We had a good relationship with Tekcare and they did a great job for us. However, our products and technology have now developed to the point where we need a UK business partner with a bigger footprint in the broadcast and post production markets.”
Total Audio managing director Peter Knowles is very impressed with Fairlight's management team. He said: “The company is incredibly proactive and very much in tune with what its customers want. Fairlight's R&D department are nothing short of genius.”
Total Audio Solutions distributes and supplies professional audio products and also designs, specifies, supplies and installs equipment into outside broadcast vehicles, radio, television and recording studios.
