Facilities body UK Post has launched The Conch Sound Awards, created to recognise the audio talent of facilities, sound editors and dubbing mixers in audio post production of television, film and commercials. The awards claim they are the first dedicated event celebrating the British audio industry's achievements in film and TV. The deadline for nominations is 29 June.
