The subsidized course provides junior employees from facilities and production companies with technical, business and industry skills and knowledge.
It is held over a four-month period in central Manchester with students attending on a day release basis.
Sessions include a mixture of classroom lectures and interactive learning delivered by tutors with industry experience.
The organisers are looking to enroll up to 12 people with particular emphasis on companies based in the North West and Yorkshire. Interest parties should email lancetattersall@btinternet.com
First Post is supported by the Higher Level Skills Pathfinder and the Manchester College and is managed by North West Vision and Media.
It is an accredited modular scheme giving new talent entering the post-production and production world a thorough grounding in technical operations, customer and commercial skills.
