The UK's first made-for-mobile sports chat show, to be presented by ex-footballer Neil 'Razor' Ruddock, has launched today [Monday] on the O2 network.

Made by indie Somethin' Else, the four minute football series, Soccer Addicts, will run for the rest of the football season, with coverage of the World Cup this summer included.

Each episode will incorporate studio footage and interviews while viewers will also be able to send in text and send in video clips. An alert service, mobile wallpaper and ringtones will be available.

Free for an unspecified period, each episode will then cost£1.50. Additional footage, made up of both extended interviews and more viewer opinions, will be available for£1.50 for three clips.

Paul Lucas will produce the show.

Meanwhile Somethin' Else recently signed a deal with Motorolla to make two podcasts for its new iTunes compatible phone, the Rokr. The indie produces the Radio 1 Judge Jules show, and the Hit40UK network chart, broadcast across commercial radio stations.
