Brief Provide post-production services for the nine-part cookery series, which has been described as The X Factor crossed with The Great British Bake Off.

How it was done Colourist Tim O’Brien used bold colours, blue skies and lush greens to give the bulk of the show a bright, summer look.

Rich colours were used to make the food appear as eye-catching as possible.

O’Brien used a limited colour palette but keyed and tracked the food to enhance the colour of the dishes, so they were the main focus in each shot.

A desaturated, low-contrast look was used for the contestants’ stories to signal a different environment from the main show.

O’Brien graded the series on a Baselight while Nick King completed the online in Avid Symphony. Dubbing mixer Michael Wood completed the mix in Pro Tools.

Watch it Wednesdays, 9pm, ITV
