NAB 2014: G-Technology has added to its Evolution Series family with the G-Drive ev SSD and the 500GB G-Drive ev external drive modules.

Both can be used with the currently shipping Thunder bolt-enabled G-Dock ev swappable drive system.

The G-Drive ev SSD offers up to 400MB/s transfer rates via USB 3.0, while the G-Drive ev provides transfer speeds of up to 125MB/s.

G-Technology vice-president and general manager Mike Williams said: “With the Evolution Series family, we continue to deliver the latest technology with the most fl exibility to meet the changing needs of the professional digital content-creation market.”
