How it was done Evolutions ingested S-Log camera rushes at native resolution to Avid Isis ahead of the edit. It provided comprehensive stills management and pre-grade preparation of the sequence prior to finishing on Avid Symphony and Baselight Grade before AS11 delivery. Tight production schedules required the grade and online to start simultaneously and access to the same media on Isis storage. To enable this, online editor Jo Curtis’ Symphony online timeline was automatically updated with Baselight grades from colourist Tim Bolt with no need for a media transfer. Audio was tracklayed by sound editor Nicholas Blomley and mixed by Will Norie and Joe Siddons in Pro Tools.
