Drake Automation founder Barry Goldsmith has joined media consultancy BPI as chairman. The new role will see Goldsmith work with the existing four directors to grow the business, which has a team of around 30 consultants and associates. Goldsmith was chief executive of Encoda Systems, which was created from the merger of Columbine JDS, Enterprise and Drake Automation/DAL in 2000.
