Wise Buddah founder Mark Goodier is to take on the role of group chief executive of the radio production, audio post and talent management firm when managing director Dave Holt leaves the company later this year.

Holt, who has been at Wise Buddah for over a decade is leaving the company to lead a tech startup in Bangkok.

Goodier stepped up to the role of chairman when Holt and head of talent Chris North were promoted as joint managing directors in 2010. North left the business in 2013.

Goodier said: “Dave has done a terrific job setting the company up for the future, we have fantastic teams in the group who innovate and deliver to a very high standard.”

Wise Buddah is now looking to recruit an operations manager to work across the group. Meanwhile, Natalie Holiday has been promoted to the position of manager of Wise Buddah’s voice over agency, while senior dubbing mixer Jon Last has taken on the role of director of audio.
