BBC Broadcast has appointed Laura Gould as head of television production. Gould will be in charge of the department, which produces promotions and trails for the BBC and other broadcasters, as well as representing BBC Broadcast directors in the marketplace. She was previously at Pink Films where she worked for three years. Before that she worked freelance for companies including Partizan, RHB and Brave. The role is a new one created to help grow the TV production side of BBC Broadcast, which is part of the BBC Ventures group.
