Brief Post on the 4 x 60-minute series that follows the Royal Institute of British Architects and Grand Design as they seek out the best home in the UK.

How it was done The audio team at Clear Cut created a variety of naturalistic soundscapes to bring each location to life. Dubbing mixer Daniel Taylor then used Pro Tools’ equalisation techniques and Izotope’s RX4 plug-ins to improve the quality of the dialogue recordings. The online, completed by Ian Mander using Avid Symphony, required the removal of aliasing and moire patterns. In the grade, senior colourist Tim Waller ‘glossed up’ the houses using Baselight to give them a polished look. Sequences shot in poor weather conditions were also improved to make them more striking.
