Hatton is joining Sanctuary Post as head of special projects.
His former company, Frontier Post, was wound up owing to high overheads and falling rates within the broadcast market at the end of October.
Hatton then moved to Arena P3 but blamed “a difference of opinion over management style” with directors Terry Bettles and Dave Thompson for his sudden departure.
Bettles said: “We are disappointed it didn’t work out for Neil, but the remaining Frontier staff are extremely excited about the prospect of working at Arena P3.”
It is understood that three other creative staff who were originally from Frontier Post and had also joined Arena P3 will follow Hatton to Sanctuary. Four will remain at Arena P3.
Ant Hayward, former facility manager of Fusion, will effectively replace Hatton in his new role as acting head of post at Arena P3.
