The IABM Training Academy is launching its first online courses for the broadcast and media technology industries.

The  first ‘virtual classroom’ course, Understanding File Formats, will run between 3-7 August in a UK time slot, and 10-14 August in a North American time slot.

The course will deliver five, two-hour long modules.

IABM head of training Steve Warner (pictured) said: “These virtual courses take the classroom straight to the desks of those working in the industry.

“The courses are led by highly-experienced instructors, and combine all the advantages of a classroom course.

“Participants will have the ability to interact with other students, put their hand up to ask questions or even go into a break-out room for smaller group discussions.”
