How it was done For the external scenes, the challenge for colourist Kenny Gibb was to use Baselight to create uniformity regardless of the captured material’s lighting conditions.
Control-room scenes were then given a softer feel to create a punchy look that enhanced the fl uorescent work wear. Julian Nelson used the Baselight Editions plug-in in Media Composer for the online.
Work included blurring out non-contributor faces. For the audio, Steve Cheshire worked on the tracklay and John Paul Sutherland completed the dubbing mix, using Pro Tools HD 12 and an S6 Console with Waves and Izotope plug-ins.
A lot of effort was put into cleaning up noisy environments to offer crisp clean dialogue.
