Jungle has recruited one of the creators of Mr Tumble to lead the post group’s push into children’s content for TV, online and apps.

Allan Johnston, the former series producer of Something Special, has joined Jungle as director of children’s content.

He took the role after consulting with the post firm’s production company, Bearkatt Productions, on a pre-school show that is still in development.

Jungle has also completed a refurbishment of its video and audio suites.

Jungle’s Flame suites have been upgraded to Flame Premium, and Lustre is now offered as its main grading platform.

In addition, Jungle’s Avid and FCP suites have recently been networked through the acquisition of Strawberry and DVS Spycer kit.

Jungle’s 12 audio suites have also been overhauled, with the addition of Fairlight Evo consoles for sound design, ADR and broadcast mixing.
