Lime Pictures has recruited former ITV Studios director of post production David Boyle.

Boyle will join the production company in January as its new head of operations, where he will work across all of Lime’s output.

He will report into managing directors Claire Poyser and Kate Little.

Poyser said: “It’s sort of a given that David has an excellent technical knowledge in developing and providing production solutions, however what really sets him apart is his fantastic ability to understand people.

“This is a rare skill particularly within the operational arena and we are absolutely delighted that he’s joining Lime.”

At ITV, Boyle was responsible for managing 3sixtymedia in Manchester and The London Studios’ post production operations.

He said: “I’m delighted to be joining Lime at such an exciting time.

“There have been a number of key appointments already this year and I’m looking forward to working with such a talented group headed by Claire and Kate, to help grow and develop the business when I join in the New Year.”
