Mersey TV is continuing its 'shoot to disk' philosophy with the acquisition of six Dual Channel Geevs video servers from Gee Broadcast. The servers, which sell for about£25,000 each, will be used for the production of Hollyoaks. Technical director for Mersey TV Graham Deaves says the kit fits in with the 'method of operation' developed for the show, which focuses around seamless production.
