Metro Broadcast has invested£250,000 to continue its HD commitment, including upgrading its Sony XPRI non-linear suite to version 7 and buying Panasonic's HDD5, Sony's HDW M2000 VTRs and Sony's latest HD camcorder - the HDW-730. The expansion will also include a new voiceover and audio restoration studio which is on course to open at the beginning of next week. The Pro Tools-based voiceover studio and Cedar for Windows audio restoration facility will allow high-end audio work to be done in-house for the first time.
