Visual effects facility Milk has started work on BBC1 drama Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, a 7 x 60-minute series set in England during the Napoleonic Wars.

Shooting begins at the end of this month in locations including Leeds, Canada and Croatia.

Milk is currently looking to expand its team of CG environment artists and digital matte painters and compositors to enable it to deliver the project, which is due to air in 2015.
