Mercedes Benz has completed its advertising production for 2003 with six ads that will feature different cars from its range to highlight the latest automotive innovations. Each one will use a different athlete to mirror the technology used in the car. Directed by Ian Bird at Serious Pictures, the 'Some People Are Just Better at Movement than Others' campaign was conceived and produced by Walter Campbell at CDD. The ads, which air from 1 June, were posted at The Mill and feature computerised tracking and new camera speed techniques. Featured athletes include Tony Alva, the father of skateboarding, Spanish high-diver Carlos Guinovart and Ross Brewer, a double gold medal gymnast at the Commonwealth Games.
