The Moving Picture Company (MPC) is to spearhead the UK trade and investment's presence at this year's Siggraph exhibition. The initiative, which has been funded by the UK government, aims to showcase the expertise of the British visual effects business at the annual graphics event. MPC has worked on Troy, Harry Potterand the Prisoner of Azkaban and Alexander. Matthew Sagar, MPC human resources manager, commented: 'The government support will help us to ensure that the best talent around is brought into the UK industry.' Siggraph runs from 8 to 12 August in Los Angeles.
