Brief Create a harmonious, cohesive look and sound design for the two-part archive-based series.

How it was done Sony PMW-EX-1 footage and specially shot drone material was combined with Natural History Unit (NHU) archive footage. Each shot was treated carefully to uphold the high production values. Tim Bolt graded using Baselight and treated the archive using

Phoenix Finish video restoration software. Michael Lansdell created graphics in After Effects and James Beynon completed online work in Avid Symphony. Ben Wood and Harry Hills used Pro Tools 11 to achieve a creative sound design that complemented the contemporary music.

Dubbing mixers Matt Coster and Pete Howell worked on Neve DFC, maintaining the emphasis on the music to produce a vibrant sound track in keeping with the title.
