UK test and measurement kit manufacturer Hamlet will make public a new plug-in module for its Flexiscope family of handheld appliances at Broadcast Live and Video Forum.

The new module adds the capability to generate high-precision test signals, included alphanumeric identifiers and embedded audio, in SDI and HD-SDI.

It also gives access to a comprehensive range of measurement displays on the return signal.

Hamlet is also upgrading its existing HD/SD and SD/composite modules with additional display functionality in response to user requests.

Engineers can now select from three modules, and existing Flexiscope and MicroFlex units can be upgraded at any time simply by swapping out one module for another.

Broadcast Live and Video Forum takes place at Earls Court in London from 30 January to 1 February 2008.
