Digital rights management and content studio refreshed following Serafin Group acquisition

Digital rights management and content studio Night Train Digital has resurfaced as Klik Studios following its acquisition by private equity firm Serafin Group.

Serafin bought the stakes of distributor Eccho Rights – for which Night Train Digital handles digital operations – and its sister companies BossaNova and Curve Media from Night Train Media last month.

Klik Studios will retain the full Night Train Digital team and maintain the business and strategic direction it had from its creation in 2024. Under its new identity, the studio will manage almost 60 YouTube channels across scripted and unscripted content with a combined audience of over 25m subscribers and 3.5bn watching hours.

Klik Studios will continue to be led by managing director Neil Francis, offering end-to-end digital services to producers and rights holders – from channel management and data-led content strategy to original digital commissioning (spanning platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram).

“A new name felt like the right moment to set out clearly what we are and what we do,” said Francis.

“Klik Studios is built on strong foundations – a large and growing portfolio of channels, a talented team, and deep relationships across the Serafin group.

“The rebrand gives us a distinct identity that reflects our ambitions: to be the go-to digital partner for producers and rights holders who want to turn their content into sustainable, long-term revenue on digital platforms.”

Its portfolio includes the official Michael Parkinson channel, the Married at First Sight Worldwide channel, as well as management of some of the biggest Turkish dramas from the Eccho Rights catalogue, including I am Mother.

London and Istanbul-based Klik Studios was also behind the AI-powered podcast series Virtually Parkinson, developed with the support of the Parkinson family and estate.

The team includes head of factual network Lara Sword and a recently recruited operations lead who will join the team in London this spring. The Istanbul-based operation is led by Ozan Hasirci, head of digital operations, and data lead Meric Konca.
