Brief
Location recording and complete picture and sound post-production on the latest 10 x 60-minute series of the maternity ward documentary.

How it was done
Gorilla recorded the fixed-rig series at Liverpool Women’s Hospital. Using EVS as the backbone of the infrastructure, the team recorded up to six streams of footage, 24 hours a day for 40 consecutive days, to create about 500 terabytes of media. Post-production took place at its Cardiff facility. Blurring faces was an intensive part of the post-production process with identities needing to be concealed.

Mark Adams graded the series on Baselight. Mark Bankhead completed the online edit using Avid Symphony, while Alice Knipping did the audio track-lay and sound mixing using Avid Pro Tools.
