BBC Scotland’s Pacific Quay digital centre has installed a near-projection rig with three Christie HD8K projectors in its 10m x 18m news studio, Studio C.

The projectors fire onto three dnp GWA single element optical Fresnel-lens screen displays via Paradigm twin mirrors.

Christie also provided a new look for BBC Sport studio five to coincide with the start of the 2007-08 football season.

The studio benefits from a 22-metre curved projection screen showing a continuous image created using a seven projector blend.

The seven networked Christie DS+8s are fitted with 0.67:1 HD fixed lens and Twist modules.
