Equipment hire company Hotcam has added former Picture Canning Company general manager Paul Taylor to its management team.

Taylor, who has worked in both television and corporate production, joined in May as facilities manager.

Hotcam, which was set up by sound recordist Trevor Hotz and DoP Alistair Cameron, supplies SD and HD video and sound equipment in both NTSC and Pal formats from its offices in London and New York.

Taylor said: “HotCam are a really great company with a fantastic reputation throughout the industry for quality equipment allied with a very knowledgeable, professional and friendly approach.”

According to chief executive Hotz, Hotcam is the only UK facilities company to have an office in the United States.
