Toasted Productions has to set up home in The Pie Factory, owned by Peel Media and part of the MediaCityUK development.

The media production company, whose clients include ITV, Universal Records, Girls Aloud, 4Music, iTunes Music Festival, Unilever and Manchester Airport have joined the likes of 24-7(Visual Impact), Gallowglass and Glitterfish in the former freshbake factory.

Simon Marsland of Toasted Productions said: “To be part of such an inspirational community with like-minded people is a great move for Toasted. We hope to bring an expertise and creative edge to The Pie Factory that will provide value to all those who are part of it. The MediaCityUK development and The Pie Factory is a great place to be right now and we are looking forward to growing with it.”

Sinead Greenaway, CEO for Peel Media Group said: “The Pie Factory is very much the foundation of MediaCityUK and we are delighted that Toasted Productions can see the benefit of being based within this growing creative hub.”

Greenaway joined as CEO earlier this month. She was previously the operations director at Virgin Media Television. MCUK’s new chief technology officer Paul Clennell,the former programme director at Red Bee Media,is due to take up his post shortly.

Other Pie Factory tenants including Axon Birch, SIS Outside Broadcasts, Scream Management and Lemon Casting recently renewed their leases. Northwest Vision and Media re-located to MediaCityUK two weeks ago.
