Pinewood appoints Weltman

Weltman will be based at the facilities group’s Los Angeles office where he will be responsible for managing Pinewood’s US clients and co-ordinating the studios’ international sales activity.

Prior to his appointment he was executive vice president of US production for the British Film Commission in LA, where he has been based for four years.

Pinewood’s commercial director Nick Smith said: “We have worked with Andy closely over the last few years and his knowledge of the industry and his relationships with key clients in the US and UK will serve Pinewood and our customers well.

“This is an exciting new hire and one we hope will deliver even stronger results.”
