Allen has previously worked at The Mill and MPC during over 30 years in the industry
Black Kite Studios has added Chris Allen as an executive producer.
Allen joins the Black Kite permanently having previously freelanced with the VFX house, and has over 30 years’ experience in the industry. He has held executive and senior producer roles at The Mill, MPC and Absolute in the past, and his recent credits include Coca-Cola x Premier League, Taste Every Second, M&S, Rewards and Honda, Super N.
At Black Kite, Allen will aim to develop new opportunities for the London-based studio, as well as elevate its creative offering plus support and mentor its young talent.
Allen said: “The vibe and the talent are second to none, which makes my job that little bit easier. What the guys have built here is extraordinary and I love it.”
He added: “Ultimately, it’s about winning and delivering outstanding creative work, and, along the way, it’s about managing expectations and finding ways to squeeze as much creativity into a job as possible.
“Black Kite feels a bit like returning home for me. I grew up in the industry alongside so many Kites so coming here means being reunited with a lot of old friends.”
