For production companies looking to ditch the Digibeta in favour of file-based workflows, hire company Pro Motion will be on hand to deliver practical advice on tapeless production at its stand (N56) in The Production Show section of the exhibition.

The Waterloo-based hire company is set to showcase the latest Sony and Panasonic solid state cameras, which will be recording footage live at the show; the team will then demonstrate tapeless workflows by ingesting, editing and playing out the material on the stand.

Advice will also be on hand for the variety of production requirements, from lighting to lenses and microphones to VTRs. The company is also promising some special show offers for visitors.

“As first time exhibitors at Broadcast Video Expo we are excited to be able to share our technical experience on all kinds of productions, and particularly tapeless workflows since this is a new area for many people,” said Pro Motion Hire’s director, Duncan Martin.
